Who’s Behind it?
You might be wondering who we are to be able to make such bold statements! We, Mads and Taylor, co-founded our documentary production company, Burning Boat, back in 2018 and have since worked on more than 10 documentaries and docu-series for Netflix, YouTube Originals, Google, and Discovery in association with industry giants like Joaquin Phoenix, Kip Andersen and Yes Theory. However, that is far from where we started! A few years ago we were just like you, fresh out of film school with giant hopes and dreams. The journey to being able to work on our own films was anything but easy. All I can say is that we learned more in 3 months of working for ourselves than we did in 4 years at some of the top film schools Like NYU.
